CHEQV product whitepaper
0.2 · 2026-10-08
1. Current public beta
CHEQV helps users review limited, explainable signals before deciding what to do next. This document describes implemented features; it is not an investment or token offer.
2. Available checks
- Websites: public DNS, HTTPS certificate, reachability and configured URL patterns. These do not authenticate a seller.
- Messages: defined text patterns, including recovery phrase requests, guaranteed profit wording, remote access requests and payments linked to rewards or withdrawals. The sender and claims are not verified.
- Wallets: supported address format and selected Base58Check validation. No ownership, balance, transaction or reputation check; EVM network choice is supplied by the user and EIP-55 is not implemented.
- Files and images: local metadata, SHA-256 and supported image information. No malware scan, AI-image authenticity check or content safety verdict.
- QR: supported decoding in the browser. Decoding a destination does not verify its safety.
- Reports: private, initially unverified submissions with internal review and audit history. No public accusation or automatic reputation verdict.
3. Using a result
Choose services, enter only the necessary information, read each reason and limit, and verify important claims through an independent channel. An incomplete check is not a high-risk finding.
4. Limits
Pattern checks can miss warnings or flag advice and quotations. Results reflect the input and time of the check. A valid certificate, a correctly formatted wallet or no finding does not mean safe.
5. Data and private reports
Selected message and link checks send text or public URLs to CHEQV. Wallet format, file, image and QR checks run locally. Reports are stored privately after consent; raw evidence files are not uploaded through the report form. Remove passwords and personal information. A verified retention schedule is not yet published; no automatic deletion promise is made.
6. Development
Video analysis, wallet chain activity and broader investigation are not available. Future capabilities are plans until implemented and validated.
7. Version and publication
Version 0.2 · 8 October 2026. Updates the 0.1 description to include message, wallet format, local file/image/QR checks and private reports. No token is offered and no return is promised.
